The Anokhi Café began as just a few tables and chairs, nestled in the shade of the original Anokhi shop — serving home-made cakes, South-Indian coffee, chai and nimbu pani.
It soon became a popular and relaxing haven for customers and locals alike. In 2007 the café moved to its current location above the Anokhi store, where freshly baked breads and cakes meet seasonal, organic produce grown locally at the Anokhi Farm.
Every dish is vegetarian. Vegan, gluten-free and other dietary choices are always available — and the menu shifts gently with the seasons.
